CeraVe is a first-line moisturizer commonly used for eczema maintenance and prevention. It helps support the skin barrier, reduce dryness, and keep the skin hydrated. It is best used regularly as part of a daily skin-care routine and is more helpful for prevention and maintenance than for quickly treating a severe eczema flare.

Dry skin is often an issue that comes hand in hand and is closely related to rash/atopic dermatitis. I regularly recommend dealing with this sort of issue to moisturize with a plain, unscented moisturizing cream — Cerave is excellent in this regard.
