Surgery for corns is considered when conservative measures fail or when a bone deformity continues to create pressure at the lesion site. Procedures may include excision of the corn with either primary closure, secondary‐intention healing, or even split-thickness sole skin grafts for recurrent or intractable cases. When structural issues such as condylectomy-amenable bone spurs or hammertoe deformities are present, corrective surgery can realign the toe or reduce the bony prominence that causes friction. By targeting the underlying anatomical cause, these procedures can significantly reduce recurrence and improve comfort. The choice of approach depends on the corn’s location, severity, and whether a correctable alignment issue is contributing to the problem.
