Laser therapy targets wart tissue by delivering concentrated light energy that destroys the tiny blood vessels feeding the wart or vaporizes the infected skin cells directly. It’s typically used when warts are painful, stubborn, or unresponsive to salicylic acid and cryotherapy. Depending on the laser type (e.g., pulsed-dye or CO₂), treatment may cause brief discomfort, followed by scabbing as the area heals.
