Medicine Should Be Personal—So Should Your Treatment Choices
Each of us has unique needs—whether it’s the food we eat, the places we live, or the careers we choose. Yet, in medicine, treatments are often one-size-fits-all, overlooking the fact that every person’s journey is different.
As an emergency doctor, I’ve seen firsthand how complex and inconsistent medical care can be. Two doctors treating the same condition might offer completely different recommendations. New treatments emerge constantly, and patients are often left navigating these choices alone—without a clear understanding of what truly works for people like them.
That’s why I created Curbside.bio.
In medicine, doctors rely on curbside consults—informal, peer-to-peer discussions—to get real-world perspectives from colleagues. But what if we could bring both doctors and patients into the discussion, sharing real experiences to help each other make informed choices?
