WIth the opioid crisis and potential addiction, there is much more scrutiny in prescribing, I tend to prescribe this if there is a preference or hydrocodone/oxycodone are too strong.
Since it is prescription only, and can also be used in GI bleeding from gastritis, I tend to reserve this for second line.
