A Letter from Our Founder
Dear Future Members,
I’ve seen firsthand how complex medical care can be. Two doctors may treat the same condition but recommend completely different approaches—leaving patients feeling uncertain, isolated, and unsure of what truly works.
That’s why I created Curbside.bio—a trusted space where patients and physicians can share real-world treatment experiences, build trust, and help others make more informed decisions.
The name comes from the medical term “curbside consult”—an informal, honest exchange where one physician asks another, “What would you do in this case?” It’s how doctors tap into each other’s wisdom beyond the chart or textbook. At Curbside.bio, we invite everyone to be part of that same kind of collective insight—patients, caregivers, and clinicians alike.
As a board-certified Emergency Physician with over two decades of clinical experience and a background in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and innovation—I’m passionate about bridging the gap between evidence and lived experience. At Curbside.bio, we combine clinical insight with community wisdom to improve health outcomes for all.
I invite you to join us, share your story, and help others find the clarity and support they need in their own care journey.
Warm regards,
Christopher Lai, MD, MBA
